What is Survival Challenge?

• Survival Challenge (SC) is a 5-day competition that will test your physical, social, and strategic prowess in a fast-paced version of the CBS reality show, Survivor. The 11th season of Survival Challenge is scheduled to unfold from July 3rd to July 7th, 2024 in the rugged wilderness of Macomb, Illinois. Participants will not merely compete; they will immerse themselves in the raw elements of the game: navigating epic challenges, forging alliances, and surviving the unpredictable outdoors. We’re seeking competitors ready to seize this unparalleled opportunity and conquer the ultimate adventure of a lifetime!

How to apply!

• Are you up for the challenge? Complete the form below and attach a link to your 2-minute video telling us why you have the skills and passion necessary to be the SC 2024 winner. Upload your video to YouTube as “unlisted” and paste the link in the application form.
  • Video tips: Don’t send Survivor audition videos! Survival Challenge is its own experience that will test your physical and social skills along with your knowledge of Survivor strategy. Share with us the specific, unique attributes you possess that will lead you to victory in this fast-paced game! We’re seeking players, not characters—this application is your chance to demonstrate your genuine passion and commitment to our game.
• Applications will be accepted through midnight on January 31st. By approximately February 28th, all applicants will be notified whether or not they have been selected so please check your email. You must maintain confidentiality regarding your application and/or eventual selection, especially on social media, as any public disclosure will result in disqualification from participation.
• Applicants selected to compete will be required to submit a $350 donation to Survival Challenge, a non-profit organization. This donation will go towards covering our operating cost as well as supporting various charitable initiatives. In previous seasons, our contributions have benefited organizations including the Durham Warriors Project, Give Kids the World, and the Western Illinois Regional Council.

Survival Challenge production recognizes the value of having a diverse cast that provides an environment in which contestants feel they can thrive socially, emotionally, and competitively. We also understand socioeconomic status and lack of representation in prior casts may be a barrier for people to apply and participate. With the intention of increasing access to participation and support diversity, equity, and inclusion within the Survival Challenge community, several scholarships are available to cover the required donation to participate. You will still be responsible for all costs of transportation to and from the event. If you are selected to compete, we would be happy to talk further about receiving a scholarship.
